What we're hired to fix.

Every piece of it moves at least one of five things: agility, cost, visibility, security, profit. Some jobs are a quick tool, some are a full platform build. You don't need a spec written up — tell us the goal and we'll work out the rest.

AI your team actually uses, from day one

Most of what gets sold as "AI" right now is a chatbot with a new coat of paint. We care about the quieter wins: the quote that writes its own first draft, the report that's ready before anyone asks for it. We start from the work your team already does, find the few places a model earns its keep, and build it into the tools you're in every day. If AI is the wrong tool for a job, we'll tell you.

  • AI adoption: the right tools, safe rollout, team training
  • Custom AI systems: assistants, document processing, extraction and agents, built on your own data, Claude first and OpenAI where it fits
  • Workflow automation: repetitive work, email and follow-up handling turned into systems that run themselves
  • Connected, in-tenant AI: connectors into Microsoft 365, your ERP and CRM, or a private deployment kept inside your own cloud and region

The three that cost you the most.

1 person

Everything routes back to the owner

Decisions, approvals, exceptions and supplier calls all end up with the same person — usually you. Growth stays capped at your hours, and a holiday becomes a risk event. We turn the routine ones into clear rules the systems follow themselves, so the business runs on process instead of your availability.

6+ hrs

Owners buried in admin

Too many small-business owners spend more of the week on internal admin than on their customers. We take the repetitive pieces, like the invoice keyed by hand or the report rebuilt every Monday, and turn them into something that runs on its own.

2–3×

Disconnected systems & double-entry

When your apps don't talk to each other, the same figures get keyed in two or three times, and every extra entry is another chance for a mistake. We connect them, so a number is entered once and lands everywhere it needs to.

Figures reflect Australian small-business research; sources on request.

AI on your real operations

You know you "should be using AI," but everything you've tried is a toy, you don't trust it near real work, or your data isn't allowed to leave the building.

We build assistants grounded in your own data, invoice capture that reads a supplier bill the way your best clerk would, and agents that carry a process end to end, with an approval gate on anything that moves money or data. It connects to your Microsoft 365, ERP and CRM, or runs privately inside your own cloud tenant and region, and is never used to train anyone's model. Answers cite their source, and nothing ships until it has held up against your real cases.

Custom apps and tools you can't buy off the shelf

The app or tool your business needs doesn't exist, or a critical process runs on a fragile spreadsheet.

From a small offline utility to a full application, built and tested, then deployed on the cloud you already run. It does exactly what your business does, including the parts no packaged product will ever cover, and it retires that spreadsheet for good.

Make your systems talk to each other

The average small business runs a handful of apps that don't talk to each other, so the same record gets keyed into CRM, accounting and a spreadsheet, and the totals stop agreeing. Your team loses hours to it every week.

Two-way integrations with safety checks and rollback, across Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams via the Microsoft Graph API and into your ERP, CRM and accounting. Enter a record once and it flows everywhere. Off-the-shelf connectors tend to give up where duplicates and governance start; that's the part we build for. For example, a recurring data-entry job cut from a couple of hours down to a few minutes.

Reports & dashboards that update themselves

Reports are built by hand, out of date the moment they're done, and nobody fully trusts the numbers.

Cleaned data, automated pipelines and dashboards refreshed on a schedule, so a decision rests on today's numbers rather than last month's. We won't hand you a dashboard you stop trusting by week two; if a figure can't be sourced, it doesn't go on.

Clean, trustworthy data

Customer and product data goes stale fast. Duplicated, inconsistent records break reports, fail syncs, and mislead any AI you build on top of them.

We clean up, de-duplicate and standardise your records into one reliable set. Poor data quality is where most AI projects stall, so it's usually where we start.

ERP & CRM that fit how you work

Your ERP/CRM was set up wrong, fights you daily, or you can't reach anyone who actually knows it.

Implementation, tailored config, custom workflows, data cleanup and ongoing admin, from an expert you can reach.

Security & compliance, built in

No one in-house owns security. A swapped-bank-details invoice could sail straight through, and a customer or insurer now wants proof you can't yet give.

Invoice fraud and payment redirection are among the most expensive attacks on a small business. Against them we put payment-change verification, email and domain protection, MFA, tested backups and staff training in place, with an Essential 8, ISO 27001 and NIST CSF-aligned uplift underneath.

Ongoing monitoring & care

Once the uplift is done, no one goes back to check: do the backups actually restore, what has drifted, what should be hardened next?

Scheduled security reviews, backup-restore tests run on a set cadence, and a standing, prioritised backlog of the next things to harden.

Security audits

A deal, an audit or an insurance renewal needs proof. Insurers increasingly decline to bind cover without MFA, EDR and tested backups, and you need an honest read on where you stand.

A standalone readiness assessment against Essential 8, ISO 27001 or NIST CSF. You leave with a control-by-control gap report (mapped to Essential 8 maturity ML1–ML3), a prioritised remediation plan, and an evidence pack written to give an accredited auditor or your insurer a clean starting point. The assessment can be run independently of any build we've done; where accredited certification is required, we prepare you to work alongside the auditor.

Cloud cost & architecture

Your AWS/Azure bill only ever goes up and nobody owns it.

We audit the account for the usual bill-inflators: idle and oversized resources, missing reservations, over-broad security groups and permissions. Then we right-size it; the bill drops and the setup gets simpler to run. The work is led by an AWS solutions architect.

Documentation & SOPs

If one key person left tomorrow, something would just stop. Or onboarding is painful and inconsistent.

Process maps, plain-language SOPs and runbooks your team keeps using after we leave. If you automate something later, the groundwork is already done.

Deep capability where you already run

You shouldn't have to move clouds to get good help.

AWS: solutions-architect level — we design, build, secure and cost-optimise from a single function to a full application. Microsoft: Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams wired together through the Graph API, including Azure OpenAI for AI inside your own tenant. What we build sits in the cloud you already pay for.

Building with AI? We're the architect on your side.

For businesses with their own product, platform or dev team: we evaluate the technology on your real data, design the architecture, and give you a roadmap with honest build/buy verdicts — before you commit a year to the wrong thing.

AI scoping & roadmap sprint

Leadership wants an AI direction, the options multiply weekly, and every vendor demo looks great. A wrong bet costs a year of development.

A fixed-price sprint: we capture how the work really happens, test the candidate technologies against your real data — not vendor benchmarks — and hand back a roadmap with build, buy or park verdicts, the evidence behind each, and a first proof-of-concept designed with its success bar and kill criteria agreed up front. The reasoning stays visible; you'll never get a score you can't audit.

Voice & conversational AI

Calls eat your team's day, after-hours enquiries go to voicemail, or you want speech-to-text and assistants built into your own product — and you need it to work on real accents, real audio, real edge cases.

AI phone agents that handle the routine calls and hand the judgment calls to a person, speech-to-text pipelines tested on your actual audio before anything is promised, and conversational assistants inside your channels. Anything customer-facing keeps a human path, and nothing irreversible happens without approval.

Architecture & build guidance for your dev team

You have developers, but nobody who has shipped AI systems at production grade. The team is about to make foundational choices — model, hosting, data design — that will be expensive to unwind.

Architecture options honestly costed — build effort, running cost at your volume, lock-in and the exit path — with a written decision record for every choice, so the reasoning survives the meeting. Then ongoing advisory in cycles: your team builds, we keep the decisions sound. Led by an AWS solutions architect.

AI in sensitive & regulated environments

Your data is the kind that can't leak — health, financial, legal, other people's records — and most AI consultants get vague the moment you say so.

This is our home ground: in-tenant and private deployments, demo-data discovery so real records are never exposed, providers with written no-training commitments, human approval on anything consequential, and outputs validated against a reference you already trust before go-live. Where a question needs a regulator or specialist, we scope it precisely and route it — early, not after the build.
Where most people start

Not sure where to begin? Start with Discovery.

Discovery looks at how your business runs today across operations, sales, finance, IT and security. You get back a Business Transformation Blueprint: what to automate, fix or secure first, with the money attached to each — yours to keep whether or not you build anything with us.

For a single, clear problem you can skip straight to the build; Discovery is for when you want the whole operation mapped before deciding. On the first call we'll work out together whether it's even worth doing.

And Discovery pays for itself: the fee credits in full against your build when you go ahead with us.

Start with Discovery

We build in a deliberate order.

It's boring on purpose. You see something working within weeks, and nothing goes live on faith.

1

Map

We sit with how the work actually happens today, including the workarounds nobody wrote down. We do the digging; the first call is short and won't tie up your team.

2

Prove

We show what a fix is worth, then agree the scope and a capped fee before any work starts. You will never see an open-ended day rate.

3

Build

One process fixed end to end, validated and tested, without disrupting what already works.

4

Hand over

Documented and handed to your team, so it's theirs to run. We stay on if you want us to.

5

Evolve

Support doesn't end at handover. Scheduled security reviews, backup-restore tests on a set cadence, and a standing, prioritised list of what's worth hardening next — for clients who keep us on.

Tell us the goal. We'll work out the rest.

A short call to understand your business and where the biggest wins are.
